Terms and conditions.

  1. These terms and conditions (hereinafter “the Rules”) govern the Swiss Advanced Vision Experience participation draw (hereinafter “the Competition”) organized by SAV-IOL SA (hereinafter “SAV-IOL”, “us”, “our”, “we”), domiciled at Routes des Falaises 74, 2000 Neuchâtel, Switzerland.
  2. By participating in this Competition, you agree to abide by the Rules. You confirm to have read, understood and agreed to our Privacy Statement. Our Privacy Statement is available at https://sav-iol.com/privacy-statement-eu/
  3. Participation is open to anyone aged 18 or over at the start of the Competition, with the exception of our employees and their families, as well as of our partners and anyone else involved in the Competition. We reserve the right to amend the conditions of entry.
  4. Each participant may participate only once. Automated or repeat entries are not allowed.
  5. To participate:
    1. 5.1. Go to our booth A.353 located at ExCel center London, as part of the 44th Congress of the ESCRS London.
    2. 5.2. Access the Competition by scanning the QR code with your personal device.
    3. 5.3. Fill in the requested fields to participate in the draw.
    4. 5.4. Complete your personal details (first name, last name, profession, country, email address).
  6. The Competition runs from 10:00 BST on 11 September 2026 until 17:00 BST on 14 September 2026, during the official exhibition opening hours
  7. A total of 1 winner will therefore be selected by lucky draw amongst the subscribers who are willing to participate in The Competition. Any individual can win only once.
  8. The winner will receive a two-day trip for two people to Grimentz-Zinal in the Val d’Anniviers region of Switzerland, with a total prize value of up to CHF 1,000.

    The prize includes two nights in a Swiss Lodge Hotel, two-day ski passes for two people, and travel arrangements in economy class. The prize cannot be transferred, exchanged, or redeemed for cash. The trip must be completed by 31 March 2028.

    Travel is not available during the Christmas and New Year periods (24 December 2026 to 2 January 2027 and 24 December 2027 to 2 January 2028), or during Carnival week (8–14 February 2027 and 28 February–5 March 2028).

    SAV-IOL reserves the right to replace any part of the prize with an alternative of equivalent value.

  1. The winner will be notified by email no later than October 1, 2026. The winner must respond within seven days of the notification. If the winner does not respond within this period, SAV-IOL reserves the right to select an alternative winner.
  2. Even if you follow these rules and instructions correctly, the possibility of events or conditions beyond our control means that we cannot guarantee your successful participation.
  3. The provision of any invalid, incorrect or misleading personal information may, at our sole discretion, lead to disqualification from the Competition and/or receipt of a prize.
  4. Incomplete, late, or otherwise erroneous entries will not be accepted.
  5. We reserve the right to select an alternative applicant if we reasonably believe a winner has violated the Rules.
  6. To claim your prize, you will be required to provide your personal details during subscription. In the event of a dispute as to a person’s identity, the entry will be deemed to have been made by the holder of the email address associated with it.
  7. The right to redeem the prize may not be transferred to anyone else. No cash alternatives or alternative prizes are available. We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to substitute the prize with an item of equal value.
  8. All decisions made by us regarding the Competition are final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
  9. We and our partners disclaim all liability, to the greatest extent legally permissible, for any damage suffered by anyone as a result of or in connection with the Competition.
  10. We reserve the right to amend the Rules and to modify, suspend, or terminate the Competition anytime for any technical or external event beyond the will and control of SAV-IOL SA.

  11. The Competition is void where legally not permitted.

  12. The Rules are governed by and will be construed in accordance with the laws of Switzerland, without regard to any conflict of laws. In the event of any disputes, the courts of Neuchâtel, Switzerland, have sole jurisdiction.
